Here, you will find opinions on various games. For ease of use, I've provided a box that will let you search for tags (like FPS or system), and a category cloud that lets you find the title you are looking for (if I have posted an opinion on it yet). You can also use the Console navigation to quick-jump to the newest 20 items for that given console!
Silent but deadly. No, I'm not talking about farts, I'm talking about ninjas! Think about what makes a ninja a ninja and then cement him into two dimensional side scrolling action and you get yourself a pretty fun idea. Well, this sure as heck isn't any Ninja Gaiden game so maybe it's not quite what you had envisioned. Will you blend with the darkness to strike your foe, or simply fade into obscurity?

Yet another game that I've been late to the table on, FTL harnesses the concept of replay-ability by infusing nearly every aspect between the start and finish with sheer random luck. Space can be a dangerous place, home to many an alien species and nebula to play havoc on your systems while you try and complete your goal. So then, pilot, think you can brave the dark cold of space and come out on top?

Cars that seduce the eyes, the smell of burning rubber, the pulsing sounds of some great music and the wind in your hair. Okay, best two of four? Burnout trades in it's major crash-mode for a bit more of a street racer feel, bumping and grinding your competition out of the way in a no-holds barred race from location A to location B. Does it help that the soundtrack ranges from classical to Paradise City? Yeah, it totally does.

If you happen to be one of the folks out there who are prone to motion sickness, you better avoid this or at the least have an emergency bag at the ready while playing. Regardless of plot, art style, or anything else in here, this game is first and foremost an arcady Free Runner simulator meant to give you the thrill of high-mobility free running. Free running, if you haven't heard of it, is sometimes referred to as Parkour - a training discipline using movement that developed out of military obstacle course training - that amounts to a lot of fluid and sometimes outrageous jumps, flips, and otherwise seemingly dangerous tasks. Although parkour is a blast to watch, the real question is: is it a blast to play?

The massively multiplayer online market has a lot of games in its diverse log books, with many hours logged for most of them by hundreds and thousands (if not more) players. Some of these games, however, aren't met with as favorable a launch reaction, or run into problems with owning companies go under (such as Hellgate London). In the curious case of APB, it started as a boxed purchase game, has issues that caused it to go down, then was later adopted by GamersFirst as a F2P model game (that's Free to play). I've spent about three days on and off with it, and I'm ready enough to give you an impression of the game and what it happens to be all about.

Imagine a world where everything is made up of squares - or more specifically cubes. You are placed within this world, and are free to do whatever it is you want - build things, farm things, kill things, explore or sit around doing nothing. To make your getting what you need to build things easier you must create tools for yourselves, or make armor to help you stay alive longer. Before long, you find yourself delving into deep monster filled dungeons in search of more and more rare materials like diamonds, so that you can create bigger and better things.

Ever been so mad at a game you wish you could punch the developer in the nose? Do you have a stack of controllers that are so broken and mangled hidden away in one corner of your house that invokes feelings of pure rage? Do you swear at the screen because you died, rip out the power cable and go punch a baby?

The sequel to the popular instance-heavy MMO has been out for months now, and an adequate amount of play time and content fix time has been allowed for a more accurate description of what's on the plate to offer. As you may know, MMOs can be a rather tricky genre for reviewers out there - as long as the game still has it's servers open and supported, the game itself can change anywhere from subtly to full out revamped in the course of its existence. Thankfully for you, you can just assume that these opinions are based on a time frame of 3/24/2013 and prior - which should give you enough of an idea to see how things are at it's foundation.

If you've played any Tom Clancy game before, then you should have a general idea of what to expect of this game. This marks the first dabbling in futuristic technologies, and a bunch of features that I would personally love to see in every FPS type game, but lets just get into the nitty gritty instead of having me waste time with this preamble eh?

This game has been getting absolutely hammered by critics. I guess it's to be expected from the crowd that gives each new up-numbered copy of CoD high ranks for being the same clone the last one was, but some of their complaints are completely sound. Having been a long time fan of The Alien series (including the wonderful Predator crossovers way back when on SNES through to the PC), I was anxiously awaiting this game for the 5 years of tortured development it went through. Enough about that though - I don't let my love of a series get in the way of what I think about a game (look back at that Force Unleashed 2 review if you don't believe me), because fluff aside the goal of a game is to entertain me. In that case, lets get down to the sonic electronic ballbreakers shall we?

The Mass Effect games are ones that I got into at a late stage, as in I actually played the second ME game before I played the first, because they had both hit the twenty dollar mark, and 2 was at hand where I was.

Ah yes, the doomed titanic that with all its glitz and romance still fell to icy waters in a failure never to be forgot. A lifetime sub, who only got a mere fraction of the time it would take to balance the cost of a lifetime sub, I'm fully jaded against Failship studios, but this game is still one of my personal favorites.

Monster Hunter Tri is the 3rd "core" installment of the franchise, and I haven't played it since back on the playstation days. Keeping this in mind, I had some prior knowledge as to how the game works, so it was rather easy for me to pick up.

When a game has an M rating, normally its for something stupid like foul language. When Splatterhouse has an M rating, its because if it doesn't bleed, swear, or look like something that should be inside of the body as opposed to where it is, then chances are its a naked photograph.
